/// WADI KAMAL

The Wadi Kamal Project encompasses a single Exploration Licence of approximately 100km² and is located 330km north of Jeddah and 30km north from the major port city of Yanbu. The Wadi Kamal layered mafic intrusion is considered prospective for nickel-copper and platinum group minerals. The Wadi Kamal Project covers the southern portion of a mafic layered igneous complex that outcrops over an area of about 500km².

Project Information

Close to the Red Sea and near the port city of Yanbu 300km north of Jeddah.

  • Citadel is targeting large massive and disseminated nickel and copper deposits within the Wadi Kamal Project area.
  • Numerous gossans associated with the basal serpentenite contact have been mapped and sampled throughout the project area.
  • Previous explorer’s single hole (KMS 1) into the prospective area returned 17m at 0.54% nickel and 0.22% copper from a disseminated sulphide zone. (This hole did not drill on to test the basal zone).
  • Package where the prospective basal contact is within 200m of the surface covers in excess of 25km².
  • Future exploration programs include a ground Electro-Magnetic (EM) survey which will directly detect massive sulphide occurrences.
