/// PROJECT LOCATION

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a member of the World Trade Organisation since 2005 and is a very favourable investment location. Other than being ranked 13th on the World Bank's 'Ease of Doing Business' Index', it is also ranked 1st in the Middle East.
To date Citadel has 10 prospective exploration projects in the Kingom of Saudi Arabia and Bariq Mining Ltd (Citadel's Saudi Company) has been granted the first foreign base metal mining (exploitation) licence in May 2010. This licence allows mining of the Jabal Sayid Project for 30 years and is extendable.
The mining law allows 100% foreign ownership, has a low corporate tax rate of 20%, no mineral royalties and profits can be repatriated in full.
The Arabian Shield has been vastly under-explored. In the late 70's and early 80's, BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières) identified over 6,000 defined prospects and occurences, many of which have not been progressed beyond rudimentary first pass exploration.
