Inés Scotland
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
Inés has twenty years of experience in the mining industry, the majority of which has been working for Rio Tinto companies including Comalco, Lihir and Kennecott Utah Copper. Inés has been the CEO and MD of Citadel since November 2007 when the ASX listed company acquired its Saudi Arabia copper and gold projects. Over the last 24 months under Inés' leadership, Citadel has raised over A$80 million in equity and increased the market capitalisation from A$25 million to over A$500 million.
Jeff Sells
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff has 20 years experience in financial management and was previously Chief Financial Officer of Oxiana Limited for over 4 years, during a period when Oxiana’s market capitalisation grew from less than $1 billion to $6 billion. After commencing his career in accounting, he spent 10 years at Ashton Mining Limited in a number of senior financial positions including Group Financial Controller and Group Treasurer before becoming Group Treasurer of Sigma Pharmaceuticals Limited in 2002. He has experience with mining operations in Australia, Africa and South East Asia, and a background in general management, accounting, tax, treasury and corporate finance. He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Finance and Treasury Association and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Peter Lester
Executive Director
Peter is a mining engineer with extensive experience in senior operating, development and corporate roles with Newcrest, North, CRA and MIM. His activities have covered Australia, South East Asia and the Americas and include a period in broking on both the research and corporate desks. He is responsible for generating new business and development opportunities for Citadel and overall external relations activities.
Sue-Ann Higgins
Company Secretary and General Counsel
Appointed as Company Secretary on 30 June 2009, Sue-Ann is an Australian Legal Practitioner with 20 years experience in the mineral resources industry having held senior in-house legal positions in ARCO Coal Australia Inc, WMC Resources Limited and Oxiana Limited. She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Chartered Secretaries Australia.
Graham Pratt
Bariq Mining, Vice President and General Manager, Saudi Arabia
Graham brings a wealth of mining experience to Citadel, gained from working at Oxiana Limited, Cloncurry Mining, Zapoan, Ross Mining, Anglo American and Elura. During his career Graham has worked as a General Manager, a Superintendent (Mill, Production and Metallurgical) and a Metallurgist. Graham graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce and from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (Extractive Metallurgy).
Brett Butlin
General Manager Geology
Brett has more than 15 years experience as a geologist working most recently at Jabiru Metals as a Senior Exploration Geologist at Teutonic Bore in Western Australia. Prior to joining Jabiru, Brett worked for Barrick Gold for more than five years as well as a number of other Australian based exploration and mining companies.
Geoff Booth
Resource Manager
Geoff is a geologist with over 30 years experience in base and precious metal exploration, resource planning and development. Most recently, he played an active role in Feasibility Study work with Anvil Mining in Africa. Prior to this, he held managerial and technical roles with BHP Billiton, Aditya Birla and WMC Limited focusing on mine production and operational excellence. He holds a PhD in geology and geochemistry.
Ben Stockdale
Commercial Manager
Ben has over ten years experience in marketing and treasury roles within the mining industry. Prior to joining Citadel, Ben was Concentrate Sales Manager for OZ Minerals Limited and before that had roles in treasury and marketing with Oxiana Limited and MPI Mines Limited. Ben has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne and has completed postgraduate studies in Applied Finance and Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia.
Kevin Smith
Finance Manager
Kevin has over 25 years experience in various accounting roles within the mining industry. He was previously the Manager Finance Projects at Oxiana Limited for 4 years and prior to this was the Principal of his own consulting business providing services mostly to the mining industry. Kevin has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Monash and is a CPA.
David Brookes
Technical Services Manager
David has more than 25 years experience as a cartographer and data specialist. Originally from the UK, David spent 6 years in the Middle East where he was employed by the Qatari government as a cartographer. David’s career within the Australian mining industry began in 1989 at Dominion Mining, followed by Plutonic Resources and Homestake Gold. Prior to joining Citadel, Mr Brookes was the Spatial Data Specialist at Barrick Gold, responsible for the management of exploration GIS datasets within Australia, PNG, Indonesia and Tanzania.

Ivor Whitefield
Jabal Sayid Project Director
Ivor is a civil engineer and has over 35 years experience in engineering, construction, project management and project Director roles. Over the last few years, he has been an engineering consultant with various mining, construction and project management companies including Newcrest Mining as a project manager for the development of their $1.4b Telfer Gold Project in Western Australia. Ivor holds an MBA and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering.
Junior Schoeman
Underground Mine Manager
Junior graduated from University of Johannesburg with a National Diploma in Metalliferous Mining. His mining experience comes from working on platinum, copper, nickel, diamonds and gold projects in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Angola. During his career, Junior has worked for Rustenburg, Ongopolo, BCL, Calonda, Gold Fields, Randfontein and Rand Mines.
